Dr Paulina Bravo awarded an Honorary Research Fellow Title at Cardiff University.

Dr Bravo is a former PhD student at Cardiff University. She was also a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Medicine and School of Social Sciences. Dr Bravo remains actively involved in research projects and collaborates with senior academics in the School of Social Sciences.

Dr Bravo is the Principal Investigator on a research project funded by the Chilean National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research that has been adopted by DECIPHer. This is the first collaborative work between DECIPHer and a Chilean University (the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile where she serves as an Assistant Professor). She is currently applying for funding to strengthen research partnerships which could result in a long-term academic relationship between these universities. Dr Bravo is envisioning collaborative work that will benefit both parties, by having joint scientific production and active faculty exchange.
