In the the 6th European Network for Social and Emotional Competence Conference in Stockholm, Dr Rhiannon Evans presented on WISE and schools and children and young people’s self-harm and suicide.
Dr Rhiannon Evans presented on schools and children and young people’s self-harm and suicide at the XXIX IASP World Congress of the International Association for Suicide Prevention, in Kuching, Malaysia.
Dr Graham Moore attended a meeting in Geneva organised by the World Health Organization as part of the process of reviewing the use of evidence and evidence synthesis in the formation of WHO guidelines.
Professor Sarah Rodgers presented on ‘Alcohol outlet density and hospital admissions for alcohol-related injury: an electronic record-linked cohort study’ at the IMGS Conference in Angers, France. This presentation disseminated the methods and results that had a geographical methodological focus from the CHALICE study.
Awards and recognition
Dr Jeremy Segrott (DECIPHer Research Fellow) took up the role of President of the European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR). Dr Segrott’s election as President has provided important opportunities to promote the work of DECIPHer to an international audience.
